Signing in to your account

One login for RIKO and RIFT, what the product cards on the hub mean, resetting your password, and using an invite code.

This article covers how to sign in, what you see after you do, and what to do when a password stops working. One login covers every Rapid Intelligence product you have.

One sign-in for every product

Sign in at rapidintelligence.com.au/app/login. Enter your Email address and Password and click Sign in. The same login opens RIKO and RIFT (and RISE when it becomes available). There is no separate login inside any product.

After you sign in you land on the hub at /app/hub, which lists your products. If you arrived from a link that pointed at a particular product, the sign-in page says "Then straight on to RIKO" (or RIFT) under the heading and takes you there instead.

If you see "That email and password don't match an account", check the spelling of the email address. It must be the address the account was created with.

The hub and what the three cards mean

The hub at /app/hub shows one card per product: RIKO (your website chatbot, its conversations and bookings), RIFT (money your clinic has earned but not yet collected) and RISE (social posts, coming soon).

The RIKO card locks when a RIKO free trial has ended and no plan has been chosen yet. That does not lock the rest of the account: if you also have RIFT, its card stays open. To unlock RIKO again, open the RIKO card's pricing link or the RIKO dashboard and choose a plan.

The hub also has a Billing link in the header (showing your monthly total once you have a subscription), a Sign out button, and, on supported browsers, an Install app button. See Sites, the hub and the desktop app for those.

Forgot your password

  1. On the sign-in page at /app/login, click Forgot your password?.
  2. Enter your Email address and click Send reset link. You will see "If that email has an account, a reset link is on its way." The wording is the same whether or not the address is registered, so nobody can use the form to check which emails have accounts.
  3. Open the email titled "Reset your password" and click Reset my password. The link works for 1 hour. If it has expired, request a new one.
  4. The link opens the sign-in page on the Choose a new password step. Enter your New password (at least 8 characters), type it again under Confirm new password, and click Set new password.
  5. You will see "Password updated. Sign in with it now." Sign in with the new password.

If you did not request a reset, ignore the email. Your password does not change until someone opens the link and sets a new one.

Changing your password

There is no change-password screen inside the dashboards. To change your password, use the reset flow above: sign out, click Forgot your password? on the sign-in page, and follow the emailed link.

Setting a new password signs you out everywhere else. Every other browser or device that was signed in to the account, in RIKO and in RIFT, has to sign in again with the new password. This is deliberate: if you reset your password because you think someone else has it, they lose access at the same moment.

How long you stay signed in

A sign-in lasts 24 hours. After that you are taken back to the sign-in page and asked for your password again. You can end a session sooner with the Sign out button in the header of the hub, the RIKO dashboard or the billing page.

If a dashboard suddenly shows the sign-in page in the middle of your day, the 24 hours have most likely run out, or your password was reset on another device. Sign in again.

Too many failed attempts

If a password is entered wrongly several times in a row, the account is locked for 15 minutes and every attempt in that window is refused, even with the right password. An email alert goes to the account's email address when the lock starts, so the account holder knows it happened. Wait for the lock to pass and try again, or use Forgot your password? if you are not sure of the password.

The sign-in page may also say "Too many attempts. Wait a minute and try again." This is a shorter limit on the number of sign-in requests from one connection; wait a minute and retry.

Creating your account with an invite code

If our team set up a clinic for you, you will have received an invite code rather than creating the account yourself.

  1. Go to /app/login and click Create your account next to "Have an invite code?".
  2. Paste the code into Invite code, enter your Email address and choose a Password of at least 8 characters.
  3. Click Create account. You are signed in straight away and taken to the hub.

An invite code can be used once and has an expiry date. If you see "Invalid, expired, or already-used invite code", the code has already been redeemed or has lapsed; contact support at support@rapidintelligence.com.au and we will issue another one.

New clinics that were not set up by our team sign up at rapidintelligence.com.au/signup instead, which does not need a code.

"Support session" banner

If you ever see a banner reading "Support session. You are signed in as this account, not as yourself." at the top of the hub or billing page, it means a member of our team is signed in to the account to help with a support request. You will not see this on your own sign-ins. See Sites, the hub and the desktop app for what a support session can and cannot do.

Still stuck?

Ask RIKO Help, the chat bubble in the corner of this page - it answers from these articles. If it cannot help, use the support form in your dashboard or email support@rapidintelligence.com.au. Please do not include patient names or details.
