Acceptable Use Policy

1. Prohibited uses

1.1 Deceptive or harmful conduct

• Provide false, misleading, or deceptive information to End Users
• Impersonate any person, business, or authority
• Conduct or facilitate scams, fraud, or phishing
• Make unsubstantiated claims about products or services

1.2 Privacy and data

• Collect sensitive personal information (health data, financial account details, government identifiers, biometric data) without explicit informed consent
• Build profiles on End Users beyond what is necessary for customer service
• Conduct surveillance or monitor individuals without their knowledge
• Expose personal information of End Users to unauthorised parties

1.3 Harmful or illegal content

• Facilitate, promote, or provide instructions for illegal activities
• Generate or distribute defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory content
• Target or collect data from children under 16 years of age
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights

1.4 Platform integrity

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code, AI configuration, or prompt architecture
• Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Use automated tools to scrape or stress-test the Platform
• Circumvent, bypass, or attempt to work around any rate limits, usage quotas, or access controls
• Attempt to access other Clients' data or systems
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Platform without prior written consent

2. Regulated industries

If you operate in a regulated industry, you are responsible for ensuring your use of the Platform complies with all applicable industry-specific obligations. You must configure the AI assistant to direct End Users to appropriate professionals for regulated matters.

In healthcare specifically, you must not use the Platform to collect, store, or transmit patient health information through the chat interface unless you have a specific written agreement with Rapid Intelligence Systems covering health information handling.

RIFT is different by design: it processes your practice billing records (which may include health information) under section 13 of the Terms of Service and section 2.3 of the Privacy Policy. When using RIFT you must only send patients account reminders about their own accounts - never marketing or unrelated communications - and you must not attempt to circumvent a patient's opt-out.

3. RISE social media and advertising use

When using RISE, you must comply with the terms, community standards, and advertising policies of each connected platform (Meta, LinkedIn, Google, and any other platform). You must not use RISE to publish content or run advertising that is misleading, defamatory, spam, or in breach of any platform's advertising or content policies, or of applicable advertising law - including the Australian Consumer Law and any industry-specific advertising rules that apply to your business (such as health services advertising requirements). You are solely responsible for the content and advertising you approve and publish through RISE, including AI-generated content that you have reviewed and approved, and for the advertising budgets you approve on your own advertising accounts.

4. Alignment with third-party platform policies

The Platform uses OpenAI's API for AI features. Your use must also comply with OpenAI's usage policies at platform.openai.com/docs/usage-policies. When using RISE, your use must also comply with the applicable developer and advertising policies of Meta, LinkedIn, and Google. Accounts in breach of any third-party platform's policies may be suspended.

5. Consequences of violation

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations
• Remove or disable content or configurations that breach this policy
• Report illegal activity to relevant authorities
• Seek damages for losses caused by your breach

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Active account holders will be notified of material changes by email with at least 14 days' notice.
